Full-stack Developer
2009 - 2018 —
Citrusbyte
I joined Citrusbyte (now TheoremOne) and started working with small teams building apps for US clients, the most important one being AT&T at the time.
We had a few projects sporting a Python stack but more often than not the language of choice was Ruby coupled with a minimalistic web framework like Sinatra or Cuba.Fast forward a few years and I grew into one of the most trusted and experienced developers in the company, which meant I got to work with other important clients like Apple, Shutterstock or FirstAmerican. In many opportunities I traveled as a consultant to collaborate on-site at client offices located in LA and NYC.
During the last three years I specialized in building user interfaces with React. Due to the large demand for this kind of work I almost exclusively took up a React dev role, the only exception perhaps being actually my last project where I had to write a bit of C# API code too.

2008 - 2009 —
Zyte
I joined ScrapingHub (now Zyte) as my first formal job at a local company. My role consisted mainly of writing webcrawlers that were responsible for mining data from many different furniture websites. That data was then fed into a large decoration search engine/store site from the UK.

2007 - 2008 — Freelance
One of my first freelance jobs consisted in building a CMS for a Mexican company in the textile industry. I built this app with Django & PostgreSQL and was in charge of maintaining the system for some time.
